Whats better Callway or Titleist??????

My friend owns a callaway big bertha 460. I own a 975j titliest pro titanium driver. Mine is about 3 years old and his is only about 2 months old. H claims that his is a better quality driver. I dont care but i want to know if he is right. mine is in mint condition even though its 3 years old( i only golfed with it about 5 or 6 times) His is very nice as well. Give me some facts that make either drive better????

When I compare drivers or any club for that matter I compare three things about them to gain a fair and accurate assessment.

1. MOI or Moment Of Inertia. The MOI is the new buzz-phrase that all these dorks at all these proshops can't stop saying. But they are right. Seeing as how the BB460 has the highest of all Callaway drivers I would have to give the advantage on this one to BB460.

2. Forgiveness on Off-Center Hits. Forgiveness is key these days especially if you play 5 or 6 times every three years. The BB460 is weighted to its extreme outside aka Perimeter Weighted so it has a very high level of forgiveness. One more toward the BB460.

3. Lastly Workability. Workability encompasses characteristics such as: Feel, control, spin, and trajectory. Feel is just that. How does it feel to make good contact? To swing? Control... just how easy is it to exert your will over the ball with the club in your hand? Push or pull high or low control is a shot without spin. Next, spin: fade or draw maybe? backspin climbing drive or maybe just a dead knuckler punching straight up the fairway. The trajectory that the ball launches at or "Launch Angle" is very important and that has to do with front or back weighting of the club head. In this ever so important category the 975j is a kung-fu master and kicks the "A" off of the BB460.

The answer to the question is the Big Bertha 460 would be a better club for a mid to high handicapped player. However, the Titleist 975j ends up being a better club for a much better ball striker. I mean this thing is a tank on the end of a stick.
Both clubs are excellent clubs. But, the Big Bertha is a little more modern with a 460cc head the Titleist 975j boasts a 312cc head which at this stage of the almost looks like a 3wood. In general terms the BB460 wins.
If I had to pick between the 2 based on my own game and preferences of feel and workability I would pick the 975j.

So Big Bertha wins.

White Gold

Gold is a yellow metallic element. Pure gold is too soft to be used for making jewelry. To increase its strength it is mixed with other metals to form alloys. The metals so used alter the color of gold producing various shades of yellow, white and pink.

There actually exists no such thing as White Gold. When jewelers speak of white gold they refer to gold alloys that are white in color. White Gold was originally produced to imitate platinum.

White gold is essentially an alloy of gold with at least one white metal. Alloy simply refers to a mixture of two or more metals. Mixing a white and a yellow metal doesn’t, as it seems, produce a pale yellow metal. Alloying alters the atomic structure of the metal which in turn alters the reflectivity of light of different wavelengths giving the desired color to the metal. The metals used to bring the white color of gold are nickel, zinc and palladium.

White gold usually comprises of gold and nickel due to inexpensiveness of nickel. It makes white gold affordable. But a major disadvantage is that it might cause skin allergies to some. Palladium is considered to be an ideal metal for the production of white gold. But it, just like nickel, is not devoid of disadvantage, as it is expensive and makes manufacturing difficult as palladium has a high melting point.

Other whiteners include silver, platinum, chromium, cobalt, tin, zinc and indium.

Like yellow gold, white gold is also measured in carats. Owing to its resemblance to Platinum and the relative inexpensiveness, White Gold receives its world wide acceptance in various forms of jewelry.

Divorce Support Groups

Divorce is becoming one such problem, eroding the very base of our society; marriage. More and more marriages are breaking up leaving behind scores of confused, hurt and lonely people. The effects are there for all to see as we come across broken families, disillusioned spouses and children with behavioural problems.

One of the main effects of divorce is a sense of alienation and loneliness a person experiences right after the divorce. There is a loss of common friends and of extended family. He suffers in isolation during the most difficult period of his life. It is a challenging time for anyone and the person needs as many people around him as possible. Unfortunately, often the opposite becomes true.

Emotions run high after a divorce, lots of problems await solution, there are many unanswered questions and you are embarrassed to face the world. At a time like this it is comforting to have someone listening to you. Interacting with like minded people who have undergone similar experience goes a long way in understanding and facing the situation squarely.

It is not always possible to involve close family or friends in it as you feel you have let them down. They might have close relationship with the ex spouse. Also, sometime it is easier to share personal details with complete strangers than close family.

This is where the support groups for divorce come in. A divorce support group is a ready made network of people who are or have been through a similar situation as yours. Groups can be large and small, professionally operated or member run but all of them provide understanding and mutual support and an exchange of useful, pragmatic information too.

Group members of a support group meet periodically to talk. The focus of the groups is on letting go off the past in order to move forward and rebuild life. You can consult your attorney, counsellor, internet, yellow pages or local church to gain access to such groups in your area.

The initial meetings in the group might be uncomfortable and inhibited. With time you will be able to open up and the healing process will start as you will see yourself leaving bitterness and resentment behind. You will regain your confidence and have more faith in what life has in store for you.

Sometimes the healing process works in reverse. As you help and reassure other members of the group, you see your own pain disappearing. It fills you with positive energy and in control of the situation. Some support groups go beyond mutual support and help you in legal action and financial advice.

Finding the right group is very important to ensure maximum success. Look for a group that fits your need and makes you feel comfortable. There are some things to consider while selecting a support group:

1. Therapy or Support Groups: Therapy groups are managed by professionals, have fees and have strict conditions of attendance. Support groups on the other hand are often free; more member-oriented and have a relaxed and helpful atmosphere.

2. Size: Choose a group size that will serve you better. Large groups can make you feel lost and unattended. They also provide you the anonymity you might prefer. Smaller groups give each member a chance and time to be heard.

3. Men, Women or Mixed: A mixed group helps you see both sides of the coin and help reduce resentment towards other gender. It might not allow you to drop your inhibitions and express all your feelings though. Same gender group lets you open up without getting conscious.

4. Location: A group relatively closer to home will not only be convenient but will also encourage more attendance.

5. Frequency: Every group has fixed intervals between meetings. Choose the one which meets as often as you would need them to effectively help you.

6. Commitment: Some groups require a commitment of 10 weeks, or three months, or some other time period. Others are open-ended, letting you attend as long as you want or letting you quit with just a two week notice.

Going to a support group will see you meeting complete strangers and forging life time friendships with them. It saves you from the agony of suffering in isolation. What is also important to remember though is that they are not a replacement for professional therapy, counseling and medication.

Budget Favor Options

Fill mini pails with hot pink tissue paper shred and add in matching colored candies, rolls of candies in hot pink paper or chocolates in hot pink foil. An alternative to pails are favor boxes. Golf Practice - Make It Count

How many times have you been at a Driving Range and witnessed stall after stall filled with tired looking golfers endlessly pounding balls. Many golfers, in spite of of their proficiency level, are guilty of wasting their practice time. Most have chosen the large bucket and believe only of launching all those small pellets with the big stick.

Are you practicing without a purpose? Why?

HAVE A SYSTEM FOR YOUR PRACTICE
If you do not desire to get lessons, there is a wealth of knowledge accessible in books, magazines and on the Internet. The principal step in improving your golf is finding out more about the swing. Find some knowledge connected to a portion of your game you are battling with. You'll probably find numerous articles connected to any and every golf sin you could possibly commit. It makes little sense to expend 75% of your golf practice time working on your strong points. Know that betterment takes time! No person goes from a twenty-handicap down to a single-digit overnight. But, if you apply these tips, you'll be building your grasp of the sport as you practice.

PRACTICE WITH SOMEONE
You can triple the effectiveness of your golf practice if you take a partner with you. You can share a large bucket and one stall. Taking turns, you should each take a few shots. Tell your companion what you are working on and ask him to recount how it looks. Observe one another from the side and behind to get different types of angles. Ask your partner to concentrate on different types of fundamentals of the swing: the grip, setup, plane, top of back swing, lower body position, shoulder turn, etc.

Each nail should be shaped to your desired style, you will nead a soft nail file, also called embery board.

To shape your nails always use the softer side of the nail file. You are always filing the free edge of the nail. (free ege of the nail is the nail tip)

For a square shaped nail, you need to file both sides very straight and then straight across the top.

Square and Round, just file the nails as you would a square shape, just take the corners off to make the nail look softer, dont file too much you can end up with an oval shape.  

Square/Round nails are the strongest shaped nails.

Oval or Round shape,  use same procedure as above just file over to the centre of the free edge, do the same on the otherside, your nail will look very pointed, some people do like this look. To make it look softer just round the free edge.

Your Next step, you have filed your nails to the shape you like, you now need to apply the colour, before applying the colour remove all the nail dust off your hands by dampening the some lint free cotton wool with Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover. Try not to touch the nails with your hands, you could add moisture to the nails, this will cause your colour to lift.

Base coat base coat is vital for that perfect natural look, french manicure or using a colour, also to help maintain the look and taking care of your nails.  I  would recommend bio sculpture      Lavender Base enriched with lavender essential oil to aid with moisturising and softening dry, brittle and flaky nail. One coat may be applied under colour polish or two coats can be used as a lovely soft colour. Lavender base is ideal to heal fungal and sore nails.

Colour to apply your chosen colour you need to use small amount of colour, brush from the base of the nail straight through to the top. Your colour will look very faint. Apply a second coat and the colour will come out. Using this method will help your nails dry quicker and will stop the nail chipping off. For a french look use a natural pink or peach or just leave the base coat and skip to nxt stage.

Which one of the three corners of a triangle is the most important?

Or to put it another way, which one of the three can you take away in order to leave a triangle? Obviously, if you take out any one of them, your triangle will collapse. The same goes for a long distance relationship. It actually applies to any relationship, but I’ll show you why it’s so crucially important in a long distance relationship.

Communication

There is no such thing as a relationship without communication. If you want one-way communication, get yourself a potted plant. They’re also very good at one way communication. Some people even say their potted plants thrive when they talk to them. But there’s very few people that would admit their plants actually talk back to them.

Communication is such a basic part of every day life, that you’d think most people would be quite proficient at it. Breathing is an important part of everyday life, and most people seem to manage it quite fine, so communication should be a breeze shouldn’t it? (pun not intended) Guess again! Most people don’t know the first thing about communication.

What do you think is the single most common reason for marriages ending in divorce? Make your pick from the following: Infidelity (unfaithfulness), communication, violence, sexual problems, money problems, too busy lifestyle, or self-centeredness.

Apparently (I didn’t verify this statistic) fully 85% of marriages that end up in the divorce court, end because of a lack of communication. Looking at the list above, you will see that communication actually plays a part in most, if not all of the other factors. Whether or not you are married or just in a serious relationship doesn’t make the slightest difference here. Your relationship may not end up in a divorce court, but the reason for it breaking could be exactly the same.

Becoming a good communicator

It’s all fine and well that you now know communication is so very important, but what good does it do you if I don’t help you to communicate better? In order to help you, I’m going to show you a few basics of communication. People communicate differently due to various reasons, including, but not limited to:

- maturity

- sex

- culture

- temperament

Maturity

Your level of maturity is mirrored by your communication. I don’t mean you should sit around and complain about the good old days like old people, I just mean that you need to (at least some times) be able to have a good heart-to-heart discussion about important issues.

I can’t think how an immature person would handle a long distance relationship. If you are in a long distance relationship and you want it to work, you will have to handle it in a very mature way. This is especially important due to the fact that you are not together all the time. Your communication time is limited, so when you need to discuss serious matters, you can’t just shy away from it.

So what do you do if your partner isn’t mature? Well, luckily, maturity is something you can learn. People are born with a certain tendency towards maturity, but the more mature you act the more mature you will become. If your partner is serious about your relationship he will make it work. Sit down and have a mature discussion about it. This is sometimes one of those things that you just need to point out for the change to occur.

Sex

We all know men and women communicate differently, and I’m not just referring to the actual topics of the conversation. Men focus more on words and technicalities, whereas women focus more on tone of voice and body language. And that’s a pretty big generalization. Just remember, when you’re talking to somebody of the opposite sex that that person may interpret your meaning in a completely different way than what you initially intended. Be aware of that fact, and you can save yourself a world of trouble.

Culture

This is especially important for couples that are of different backgrounds. And I’m not just referring to different ethnic backgrounds. Even people from the same ethnic background, but different parts of the same country can have very different ways of communication.

You should never hide behind the fact that you’re from a different culture. What I mean is: If you know certain people find certain words offensive, even though where you come from they have different meanings, it doesn’t give you the right to abuse that fact. When communicating with your partner, always keep your backgrounds in consideration.

Temperament

You all know those people that seemingly get offended at everything? Or what about those people who seem to offend everybody with their style? Even though it’s also not something to hide behind, it’s probably a factor of their different personalities (temperaments). It’s a good idea, if you’re in a serious relationship, to find out exactly what personality type both you and your partner are. It will make communication so much easier. You will suddenly understand why, for example your partner misinterprets certain things you say, or why she sometimes seems so harsh on you.

Commitment

There really isn’t much to say about this. When you find somebody you really love, you WILL commit to that person. If you don’t, then your relationship is doomed from the start. There can be no relationship when there is no commitment. The moment an even remotely interesting third party shows up, your relationship will be down the drain if you haven’t committed to each other.

Commitment is something that you will have to work on. It builds heavily on the communication you have in your relationship, but also on trust. See why I say none of the three corners can be removed?

Trust

Let me just start of by saying this: Distrust is normal. Don’t feel like a terrible person just because you don’t always trust your partner. By the way; you thought your partner was great, so somebody else may just think the same way. But before you let trust – or the lack thereof – ruin your relationship, just ask yourself the following question: Why am I distrustful?

Do you have a valid reason for distrusting your partner? Really think about it for a while. If you both really love each other and are truly committed, why are you worrying? One of the main reasons to be distrustful is probably because of mass media. We’ve all seen movies, TV shows or have read books where the husband/wife comes home early only to find an untrustworthy partner in bed with someone else.

Does this really happen? Unfortunately it does. Does it happen nearly as often as we are made to believe? I’ve seen the Golden Gate Bridge being destroyed at least 5 times during the last 10 years. Funnily enough, it’s still standing; despite what Hollywood thinks should be happening. I’ve also seen at least 6 different attempts by aliens to take over or destroy the planet (some more humorous than others). I’ve still to see my first real alien – the green tentacled type, not the illegal immigrant type.

Suffice it to say this: Trust is like respect. The more you give, the more you will get. If you really trust your partner, it will show, and you will receive the trust back. You weren’t planning on cheating were you? Of course not, so trust you partner to do the same.

But here, once again, the three corners of the triangle will have to work together. I firmly believe that the more you communicate, and the more openly you communicate, the more you will learn to trust each other. And the more you trust each other the more committed you will be to each other. And the more committed you are, the more you will trust each other and communicate with each other.

I can carry on like this for a few more paragraphs until you are completely dizzy, but I’m certain you understand by now. If you feel you need to work on one of these points, you will have to work on all three of them.
