Low Profile Ping G15 Fairway Wood Review
Replacing the hugely successful and brilliantly performing G10 and i10 ranges was never going to be an easy task for Ping engineers, but with the launch of two new entire lines - G15 and i15 - they look to have produced another pair of Golf Clubs for sale to the market.
The elongated, low profile design of the Ping G15 Fairway Wood offers a long, forgiving option for golfers who rely on the confidence of a larger head. An external weight pad on the sole of the Stainless Steel head positions the center-of-gravity low and farther back to provide higher trajectories and increased distance. Its low spin feature is the result of the low profile design.
The Ping G15 Fairway wood updates the hugely popular G10 model and shares many of the improvements seen in the Ping G15 driver. The G15 has an elongated head design which means the club head is longer from back to from to provide stability and forgiveness and increase the moment of inertia, or MOI.
The G15 also features an external sole weight pad which redistributes weight at the bottom of the club head and helps move the centre of gravity lower and further back in the club to provide both a high launch rate and a very low spin rate. Ping have also introduced a new low profile design with the G15 fairway woods which is not only pleasing on the eye and inspires confidence but also helps to move the centre of gravity much lower in the club head. The Ping G15 Fairway wood is available with a TFC 149F or Aldila Serrano 75 Fairway shaft.
G15 Fairway is impressive and forgiving, if you're in the market for a new fairway wood, I would highly recommend adding it to your list, for they are really wonderful golf clubs for sale.
